I have collected items for years, which I rent out to planners,venues and individuals for their special event. As far as my home, well I want a beautiful home like everyone else...but I dont want to go broke getting it. I furnish my home with 2nd hand finds from Craigslist, Flea Markets,Yard sales,curbside. I want to fill my home with pieces of history and renew the discarded. On my lifestyle blog LUCKY 7 DESIGN I will share with you how I do it by sharing ideas on junking,entertaining,DIY projects. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving all the wonderful comments, I am a visual manager also and work north of Phila. It is a job I started right after college and then like you I stopped to raise my girls. I wrote a diy dec book that was based on tips and tricks I learned in display - easy, quick fake it out kinda stuff. I am sure you can relate. After 20plus years as a SAHM, I am back in the visual world.
Give that little butt an extra hug today - they grow up way too fast and before you know it - they are out of the nest.
