A WEEK OF THRIFTY PROJECTS...... DAY 7 - FOAM BOARD

So with all the school projects in this house, there is never a shortage of poster board or foam board.  This is a simple project that I did for Halloween.

Supplies:

Foam Board
Telephone Book
Alphabet Stencil Sheet
Black Marker
Glue
Paint Brush

Clean Foam Board

Rip out telephone pages

Glue them to the foam board (dont use to much) I watered down the glue and did kind of decoupage thing

After dry....Stencil on your spooky words and I glued on a wooden pumpkin shape.

For now it rests under the altar shelf in the dining room.

Total cost of this project: $ 0.00

Foam board - already had in school supply closet
Phone book - well we all have one of those
Glue/brush - craft drawer
Letter stencils - from kids book
Marker - always have black markers for labeling

I have made many different kinds of these using other types of paper and sayings.  This idea was inspired by my sister Jenn who does her art on this background sometimes.  You can see her blog here http://pinkybrowninc.blogspot.com/. This is one of her pieces......love it!!!!
