BREAKING NEWS......

Well it's been leaked here and there and I have given my secret up to a select few already but I am now announcing to you all!

WE ARE EXPECTING BABY #6!

I use to be that girl that was like "I have to wait to tell" either way what will be will be...so if something happens along the way you will hear about that too.  But I have put my trust in God.

It is still very early, I am only 6 weeks but this is what my belly looked like at just about 6 months. I know scary isn't it.  We make big babies......no really the last 2 were ounces shy of 10lbs.

The 1st ultrasound went well and the heartbeat was present.  However also present was a blood clot, so I am  a little nervous about that since Ive never experienced this with any of my other pregnancies.   I go back for a follow up in 2 weeks.   I have faith that all will work out as it should.  It is in God's hands... as well as my fabulous OB/GYN , we have a female doctor this time!  Woohoo Dr. S!

God is good, and I trust in the path that he leads me along.    I am nervous, scared and excited all at once.  They say God never gives us more than we can handle, and so far I have taken it all on and come through stronger.

The sweet side to this story is that my dad's passing and the blessing of this baby coincide.   I read once that when someone passes that a child then takes their soul.  It would be a blessing for this baby to have a little part of my dad.

As most of you already know, Im the mama of 5 children.   4 girls and 1 boy......Gabriella 17, Alexander 13, Adelina 11, Samayah 5, Kemorah 23 months.

So in addition to maintaining my household, caring for my 5 children and husband as well.   I am due to open my very own physical home interiors shop in March!  I have less than 30 days to get my furniture painted and my pieces organized and then the store set up in 7 days....Yea I guess I like a full plate!

This is going to be BIG year for me......literally!

Well most of you who know me see me write about my blogging bff in South Carolina.  LP of A Crafty Southern Chick.    Today Im guest posting over at her place, because SHE FINALLY HAD HER BABY BOY.  I kept my post in theme today with the news and arrival of her sweet angel.

I'll leak to you that his name is Colston, and OMG he is a perfectly handsome little newborn.  Sometime babies come out all squishy and swollen, well he is a site for sore eyes.   Hope to meet him this summer when we head down there for vacation (hopefully to find a house and not come back. lol)

My 15 year old daughter showed me this video on her iPhone and I was histerical.  I thought the Huggies commerical was cute.  I even love the Etrade commercials with the babies in the highchairs.  But these kids are soooo freakin cute.

SUNDAY IS FUN DAY......NOT THIS TIME!

This is my little one (bugga bugga)..thats my nickname for her.  When she's not crying her face reminds me of the little flying bees on Dora...and there called Bugga Buggas.  At 4 1/2 months she has become quite the drama queen as you can see here in this photo of Big Daddy J and I trying to share bath time duty.  It was just so over the top I had to post it. lol    She was only born in March, but she's a big girl....frankly she's never been tiny.  She was born 9lbs 11ozs (just 4 1/2ozs shy of beating out her sister for largest baby of the family)  All 5 of my children have been between 8 1/2-10 lbs. (ouch).

FRIDAY FINDS!!!!!

Okay so I dont know why this didn't post earlier so Im re-posting it now.  But I dont know how many of you have little ones.  I have a new babygirl who was born in March and she was 5 ozs shy of 10lbs. lol  Our record is 9lbs 15.5ozs. but she came in under the wire.
 
Anywhooooo.......I've been seeing the new Huggies commerical on television for the new demin patterned diapers.  I was holding off because I thought it would be a waste since she is breastfed and has lots of diaper changes a day.    And I believe they start at size 3 which is big, but turns out that size starts at 16 lbs and my little bugga bugga is already 17 3/4 lbs.  so she meets the weight for them.

While shopping at Babies R Us the other day with my oldest daughter (15 yrs old) and my 3 1/2 yr old and they were having a SALE.    By one pack of the demin diapers for $11.99 and the second pack was 50% off...so they are 29 diapers in a pack her size so I estimated 1 a day for a month.  I dont plan on using them regularly.....theyre really cute but I think I will just use them under sun dresses.  Like the ones that dont have the matching bloomers....its been so hot in NJ lately no use in layering a poor baby.
